Quick question. 1992 318i are they vag, OBDI or OBDII.

E36 1992-1995 OBD I
BMW's 1996+ OBD-II.

Basically any car that is 1996+ is OBD-II.

A closeup shot also makes it easier to figure out. OBD I and OBD II vag's look almost identical on the outside.

nah,

you want it about 3-5 foot away so you can bet a better idea of what you are dealing with.

it's those closeups and crazy angle shots that can deceive you into thinking you are getting something small and petite, when in fact it's about the size of a football stadium :eek:
