6 manual or 6 auto? want 400whp

I'm putting an order together for a 335i but I'm not sure what tranny I want. Is there any info on how much power the auto's can handle? Am I just safer going with a manual 6 speed. I would like the car to have around 400whp and 400wtq.

No, I always will suggest an MT, and more for modding since tranny software can complicate things. But to get 400hp the tranny means nothing.

I just traded my acura TL in for a 2008 335xi with MT. I went for the awd only because of the occassional sprinkle of snow in chicago (nothing like Canada). The manual transmission has been a blast. I-drive has been easy to learn also.
