View Full Version : Am I correct to assume the ONLY way to get AWD is with the xi versions?

The only reason I ask this is my insurance company has my 335i logged as AWD and I am 99.9% sure that is not the case. It doesn't feel like AWD, I have no AWD indicators and I am almost positive AWD only comes with the xi designation, but it never hurts to double triple check.

The VIN does match.

Thanks

If you want to be certain, look underneath the car. Do you have halfshafts going to the front wheels, as on a FWD car? If so, you've got AWD. If not, you don't.

But sounds like you almost certainly have an error on their part. Which might be costing you extra, or saving you money.
