Im due for an o/c, I used 10w30 mobil 1 last time and was wondering if I should go with different oil due to the temp changes.

Given your location, I'd think BMW or the German Castrol 5w30 would be fine year round. Those two formulations are a bit more viscous than a generic 5w30 and a close alternative to those two is Mobil 1 0w40.

in florida, you are fine. Really anywhere if you run 0w or 5w you will be fine on start up in the cold. Being in florida, if you have ever experienced lifter tick on those good hot days after hard driving, you might want to get a thicker hot weight (5w-40 or 50) for those really hot days coupled with hard driving.
