i know most of you hated it when seeing the first two real pics. at that point, my opinion was the car was okay. after looking at these pics, the car is starting to grow on me (just like it did on the e65).

I like it, its going to look really good driving down the road.. as most Bangle designs do.. I like most of his stuff, except the shape of the 7ers headlights.. just no form.. but this is nice..

did they take out the mpg gauge? or did they take out the temp gauge?

what happened to the trunk shocks? those hinges are so.. low-tech. do they still get in the way when you close the trunk?

It is slowly growing on me too... though the head on shot looks like a cross between a grand am (grill) and a Saab 9-5 (the upsweep of the lights, rounded into the fenders). Anyone else see that?

But, there's definitely potential, and I think a lot more people will be convinced when the V10 M5 comes out!

the front is still quite hideous. From looking at the rear of the M5 pictures, I cannot seem to find the "hump" on the trunk, so I guess a plus there. Now that I didn't notice/see the hump the rear i guess is acceptable.

The front though, sheesh, Bangle needs to get back to the drawing boards...

Also those mirrors on the M5 are pretty weak looking, so regular 5 series.

Not as bad as the Z4... I don't know... really kind of neutral to me. Which come to think of it, is probably a car company's worst scenario, neutral! Love it or Hate it is what makes cars memorable. I think it looks almost like a Lexus ES300 - YIKES!! Just not what I'd picture myself in screaming around a track or hustlin' thru the twisties.

I'm with you on this. I think I am liking it more and more. Especially with a V10.
