I'm currently doing an S50B30 swap on my 95M3, but I'm kind of stuck with the charcoal canister install. Can anybody confirm if you can reuse the US charcoal canister or do I have to replace it with the euro one? In addition, does the euro motor have a purge valve for the canister? Because I can't find one to connect & would like to know what connections do I need to make to have it work. By the way I removed my ICV if that makes a difference. Anybody that has done the swap, please :help, thanks.

Don't recall exactly...but I am pretty sure I removed mine.

Thanks man, that's what I was thinking of doing, but according to racepad.com they installed it. However, they don't specify what connections they used.

I got mine to fit, just rotate it to a horizontal position instead of vertical. Find some hose and clamps if you can't get the formed plastic tube to fit anymore. Pretty simple once you just play around with it.

The Euro can sits under the coolant tank, right at the firewall under the DME opening. You don't need to put it there to get it to fit.
