View Full Version : Little "bullets" under the crank main bearings?

I was pulling my engine apart tonight for the first time and after I removed the crank and the crank main bearings underneath the bearings on the block side were these little "bullet" shaped cylindrical pieces. They looked like one way valves for oil. They were only on 6 out of the 7 bearing journals.
What exactly are these for and do they require replacement? Couldn't find them in any exploded view diagrams.

Sounds like oil squirters. No need to replace them.
