what's going on? If I have the new oil-pan gasket by then I want to go ahead with that job this weekend.... anyone want to help out/provide garage space & Tools, I can use all the help I can get!

At this point the plan is for Justin to come over to scrub off his side skirts (too cold to paint), Adam may come help, and Greg may come out too. When people get tired of scrubbing, they can help me in dropping the escrap engine into place, so right now garage space is nil, but driveway space, tools, air, and helping hands are all available. Probably start around 9am... the more the merrier!

cool, I have a breakfast meeting at 8, pick up the gasket at 9, and be there about 9:30...

as for 20-30hp, my car is supposed to have more hp AND torque than justin's car and weighs less.... and is geared deeper, yet, for some reason, its SLOW.

Pickerings is doing a valve adjustment and putting in new plugs tomorrow (dropping off car tonight), and then I'll need to get the goods for an oil change... which reminds me, i need filter! DOH!

My wife and I used to see you at Sonic on 48th street all the time last summer, I was in a black Z3 2.3 (see sig).

Justin is rolling a 94 325is that is pretty cherry, I've got an '83 533i (wife has a '99 528iT), and Armen has all sors of interesting cars.... Adam might be around (93 325is).

The other active locals are:
Bruce Rowan: White '95 M3 (H&R Race on the rear last night... fronts are friday afternoon)

iv only heard of a few other bimmers in lincoln and i think iv met the guy with the m5, and theres the older guy with that reaaaaaly nice new m3, he took me for a spin las t summer.. i dunno if he even has that car anymore.

your on high street? it runs east to west right? whats the nearest cross street? 53 or 54th i take it....

high street is east-west, yes. its a couple blocks south of van dorn and a couple north of calvert. just take 56th to High and then go west. we're both on the north side of the street, armen is 5440 and High stops as 52nd, we are the last house.

what time saturday are you all gonna start? i read off the other thread that friday your meeting up anytime after 4 or 5 pm.

i get off work at 5, then i have to drive home and get the bimmer (i drive a metro daily) and then i would stop by.

Jeremy thanks for calling my car cherry!! I'm working on getting it there. Hopefully once the skirts are done I can get that rust removed too. I will see you all Saturday it sounds like. This will be cool to have soooo many BMWs in one place. We all need to get to Sonics and park next to each other too.

Oooh, ooh, battle of the mid-15 second cars!!! I want in!!! I think we need a grudge match smack-down at scribner this summer. I'll bring my german as a backup if the triangle-powered car can't quite get the job done. :)

I think it's funny that between the 3 of us, we have 5 cars that should all be within a couple 10ths in the quarter.... :D
