Willing to drop price-$5600- open for trades as well-negotiable
The 7 series came into our shop on the hook. The car was beat up from front to back, inside and out. The only thing sweet about the thing was that it had 16inch Borbet type A's on it-almost a dollar bill lip. The interior was decrepit and cracked gray leather and smelled like dope. The AlpineWeissII paint scheme had turned to poobrown since the factory spray. Needless to say it was a no start. After performing some tests, compression, cylinder leakage and what not, we decided to pop the head off.-Fun stuff
Chocolate milk was everywhere.MMM. This is when I decide to take on this project via trading my 88 cabriolet for this 7 series and another engine to put in it. I did so, with the budget I could manage and the parts I could find. I have transformed the thing into a very nice automobile, that still needs some work. I have run outta dough and have decide to pass the project on to deeper pockets. All I want out of it is the amount I put into it excluding the man hours. Keep in mind my 88 cabriolet I traded on top of dumping funds into this car. Here's the good, bad and ugly.
Good
-new engine with under 100k
-water pump
-thermostat
-valve cover and gasket
-spark plugs
-filters
-black leather interior frnt to back out of 89 735/740il
-paint detailed
-18 inch BBS RSII's-staggered
-Fulda Carat tyres
-new alternator
Bad
-needs alignment-slight,slight pull to the left
-Portion of headliner hanging in rear
-needs rotors turned or replaced
-tad bit of rust inside gas lid
ugly
-the price? Let me know.
