Input on the 330xi vs. the 330i

I am looking at buying a low milage 06 330 either xi or i. I read a review of the new 07 335 and the professional auto writer was pretty negative on the 335xi (not as precise handling and overkill, in his opinion) and I wonder if anyone has any experience/reviews/opinon on the 330i/330xi compare?

You can feel the extra weight of the AWD, kind of like always having a passenger. The 330i is almost 50/50 weight distribution

I love my xi, but what matters is what you prefer.

Drive them both and then decide.

Why would you need the x-drive in San Diego? I'd say skip it.
