Sup guys,

So recently turn signals on my 535i started to always blink rapidly, front and back. I pulled the fuse out and when i try to put it or a different fuse in it makes that clicking noise like its not happy.

I found out which relay was working it, but I dont know what I can do about it, do I just need a new relay? Are the relays interchangeable? Could I swap in a different one for the time being? Sorry I'm a noob when it comes to electrical ish. Thanks for any help.

I'm having a similar problem. I don't know about swapping relays, but if I had to guess, I'd say yes. Where is the turn signal relay, anyway?

Sup guys,

So recently turn signals on my 535i started to always blink rapidly, front and back. I pulled the fuse out ... Thanks for any help.

Have you checked the light bulbs for the turn indicators (especially the front ones) to see if you have a burnt out filament?

I didn't check before I posted...but if you're in the USA...ever notice that your front parking lamps come on when you turn the headlight switch to the 1st position...and the lights are at a set illumination...but when you use your turn indicators...that same lamp will blink at a brighter illumination?

Well, that happens because you have one bulb in that light assembly that has a dual filament. One low wattage filament and one higher wattage filament. If one of those filaments has burnt out...it will cause the "blinker" to blink fast.

Just thought I'd ask if you've checked the bulbs...because you didn't mention anything about it as being able to rule it out as a cause. :)
