transmission problem

hey, i think im having transmission problems... my car can turn on and whatever, the only gear it would go into is reverse, i mean, it goes into all the gears, but reverse is the only one that it engages and moves.. it wont move in drive, or 4, 3, or 2 , it only moves like.. very slow.. like 1mph and when i accelerate the rpm just goes up..what could i do?

Get it diagnosed at a tranny shop.Do not go to a dealer.If it needs a new tranny try Peter Schmid transmissions,in the L.A. area.

Is your tranny a 4hp22? Either way your forward clutch pack is toast. Time for a rebuild. It's pretty easy to do this clutch pack yourself if you're even remotely handy with tools and can pull a tranny.
