Met up with a few guys down in York, PA for lunch and to grab an SI board for Wolfie. Here are a few shots of the cars. From left to right: '89 with sport seats, '88 M6, '84 Euro, Wolfie...

They were are all so different in little ways! It was great to park all the different types of bumpers together. I really like the graphite metallic color, it looks awesome on E23's and E24's.

The two with clear corners, can't see the red one that well, but the grey looks really good with them. I also like his wheels.

The cars with the clears both have the rondel wheels. I forget the number though. Im not a big fan of clears on these cars at all, but they dont look bad on the grey car.
That car is getting big overhaul this winter, and is eventually going to have a centrifical supercharger on it. Got linear power?

I tend to agree with you on these cars, and they look very good on the grey car. I bought a set for mine, they are in the pile of parts to be installed (when I get the time). I got them as a limited production and figured I could sell later if I didn't like them. Hope I can get some work done this winter.

Thanks for sharing the pics Jeff, it's great to catch up and see other 6ers isn't it. Different interiors, different bumpers, different spoilers, we get so used to how our own look & feel its fascinating to get a look inside someone else's.
I agree with you & Bill re clears vs ambers, I really like the ambers on the 6ers, I think they accentuate the outline of the shark nose and add to the menace. I've never had any desire to go clears on my cars, but, like you, I agree that on some grey coloured cars they don't look too bad at all.
I've seen pictures of this car on bigcoupe, it belongs to a bloke in Perth, Australia, and I think its a very well put-together package.

Those wheels are Rondell 58's.
Is that Georges car (looks like George in the pix, but can't *quite* tell)? Glad to see you got some folks together!

Those wheels are Rondell 58's.
They are probably what I will go with eventually since someone won't part with their style 72's.

Sorry - if I ever do sell them, I think Cosmo's "cousin" has first dibs:

Tis georges car! I was originally meetin up with him to grab an old SI board he didnt need. What a neat car! He has got some big ideas brewing for the winter for that car. Also looking for an Alpina. Who knows what he'll have in store for SESF!!
I do like that silver Perth car Ellis. One of the few ive seen where i like the shadowline trim!

Yes, it's a great looking car. I'd like to see it for real but Perth is a looong way away.

Unfortunately they're not my photos so I don't have anything closer of those Studebakers, but I do have some old Buick's from a car show I attended late last year...

And this one I've always thought was pretty special because it's so unusual. Its a 1959 Tatra, a Czechoslovakian vehicle with a rear-mounted air-cooled V8.

Sorry about this Jeff, you'll have to pardon me, I'm getting a little off topic...

Quite alright Ellis, no apologies needed! Im loving those old American biggies, and that Tatra is a trip!!
What an engine! Im working on an old aircooled porsche flat-4 (a VW Bug engine with carbs and pistons), but that air cooled 8 cylinder is quite impressive looking!
I also really like the '39 Buick with that creamish yellow color...

Actually, you are 415km closer to Perth than I am from Jeff and I plan on meeting him in two years.
What's your excuse? It's road trip time, Dude!

How long is it supposed to take to get from Canberra to Perth?
Bill, from State College to Zillah is ~2,570 miles.
Zillah to next years SESF location (Winston Salem, NC): 2,680 miles.
Either way, you should take at LEAST 2 days to drive, id probably set aside about 4 to drive out there, just see the sights.
So im guessing its gonna be about 2600 miles to a PSF for me, but im up for it, ive been wanting to do a cross crountry trip since ever!
And i dont think the PSF is the only id be going out for, itd be a highlight of like a 2 to 3 week trip.
