I have recently had my share of yellow warning lights and the accompanying warning chime for things such as bulbs, headlight and the adaptive headlight unit.

Today I am driving the bimmer and get the familiar chime and yellow warning light. To me, this sound is like finger nails on a chalk board and I have been conditioned like Pavlov's dog to freak out. The blood pressure rises as does the heart rate as I reluctantly look at my dash to see the latest problem.

Today's warning light and chime was to tell me that there may be ice on the road. Boy did I feel lucky!! I was just about to speed dial the dealer and book an appointment.

lol, since the car beeps everytime I get in because of the seatbelt, I'm now accustomed to those tunes. Anyway, that warning goes off nowadays as soon as I drive out of my garage. Soon it will even go off in the garage since it can get to 20F or lower even in the garage. But I do understand how you'd worry with your luck and all.

Same here, pretty used to it. In fact I look down assuming that I just need to fuel up.

The first time mine did it I took a while to figure out what it was since it was a clear night.
