somebody KEYED the side of my car a few months after having it!! (lol i cant insert a mad face smilie being a new member and all..jeez. so heres my mad face >:( )

story: I was parked on a semi busy street in jackson heights queens (NY) when i came back to find my car violated with a shiny streak alongside the passenger side. it is disgustingly noticeable when you get a few feet from the car.

what can i do to erase or lessen the appearance of this slash of envy, boredom, evil, jealousy, hate, "my momma doesn't love me", "there is no God"..etc. ????????

Well, no matter what. There is going to be no compound or polish that is going to fix that. Sorry.......The key mark is completely throught the clear coat, and mostly likely through the paint. The only way you can fix it is take it to a body shop. Have them buff out that area, and repaint it all.......

Don't worry. Its happened to our family and 2 cars that we own....I dunno whats on people minds when they do such things

What color is your car? Sometimes the scratch can be filled in with a paint pen, wet sanded smooth, then compounded to a very good result without resulting to complete panel painting.
