I'm a fan of keeping a new car looking new. Clear bras seem to offer a unique protection. But given the prospect of yellowing film and the wear and tear of washing and waxing, what do you all feel is the best of breed invisible film paint protection product.

I have 3m clear bra on my 335i. I have had it now for 8 months. It looks as good today as the first day. I never wax it, all I use is Plexus and a micro fiber towel to wipe the Plexus off. One more thing. The install is as important as the material used. Good luck.

The brand that I trust the most is 3M. My friend had it installed on his altima for 2 years and it looks like new. Keep in mind my friend only knows how to wash his car with a spray gun and wipe it dry with a towel.

I had mine installed at BMW center before I took delivery of my car. If you have time I would suggest you shop around for a good price. Make sure it's 3M though because I have tried other brands and the whole film faded with a slight yellowish tint.

They shouldn't, but I have seen them yellow in 1 year.
If you get the 3m ones they tend to last longer. If you get the Avery ones they do fade after a year or so.

Agreed. 3M is definitely top notch stuff.

+1 for 3M.
Had it on my previous E320 for 4 years, with no noticable yellowing, and now have it on the 335i.
And do use a good installer! 3M site lists qualified/certified people on their site.
