1) Wash: self explanitory
2) Paint prep/clean: clay the paint to remove surface containments such as industrial fallout, overspray, raildust, ect. Paint cleaners are then used to remove paint etching from mineral deposites (from water) and also to remove swirl marks.
3) Polishing: Polishing the paint conditions it to help restore lusture and give it maximum shine. This will also help protect it against oxidizing.
4) Protecting: LSP (last stage protection) whether it be a carnauba wax or a synthetic sealant will do fine, just reapply as needed.
5) Maintaining: Maintain with quick detailer to remove surface contaiment such as bird poo, water spots, sap, bugs and such before they get past the LSP and etch the paint.

For your selection in products, I do have a few suggestions. To make life easy if you just want to maintain it and don't care about a showcar shine, just use a cleaner wax. These may not usually have the greatest durability, but they are VERY easy to use with a quick drying time and will clean/polish/protect the paint all in one swoop! My personal favorite store-bought cleaner wax is Meguiar's ColorX. If you want more durability, and still want an easy to use LSP, look into Klasse AIO and SG (which can only be bought online). If you want a better shine and want to do all the steps seperatly, then the only question is how much money are you willing to throw at it?

In terms of the quick detailer, ICE is actually a pretty good one, but I would HIGHLY suggest you go out and get Meguiar's UQD. It is without a shadow of a doubt, the best quick detailer money can buy for maintainance. It is also the worst detailer money can buy if you plan to wax afterwards as it makes the surface so slick that not only does water RUSH off the paint, but most LSPs won't even stick to it. ICE has some LSP in it, and a very poor one at that.

Get rid of the Black Magic stuff. Plain and simple, it is just not a very good wax.

For a few more bucks you can buy a random orbital polisher and do it yourself probably much better than the dealer. Check out Autogeeks Porter Cable combos. I got one from Griot's Garage.com, love it worth every penny.
