Starting 1.9 Z3 search

Hi, first time poster, looking for pointers.

I am starting a search for a 1.9 Z3, a 1.9 mostly because my current car has been hard on my drivers license. I want a little more room than a Miata, and I kind of like 4 bangers anyway.
At this point I am just researching, things to watch for, pricing, etc. If any of you can point me to good reading or have info of your own I would be interested in hearing what you have to say.

Do a bunch of searchs on the Z3 board. You should be able to find answers to questions you have.

There have been several "guides" to buying used Z3's over the years. Bimmer magazine does a used car market report at least once a year on them. The 1.9 is a simple and reliable car as far as BMW's go. Many owners consider them the most balanced and fun to drive as well.
