The holes on cross-drilled Brembo rotors are drilled through the face of the rotors and uniquely chamfered to the minimum thickness to reduce stress and to precent the rotors from cracking. In order to maintain the strength and the integrity of the rotor, the holes are always located between the fins inside the vented rotors and never into them. All Brembo rotors are balanced to ensure vibration free and smooth braking. Cross drilled rotors are known to enhance the braking performance by dissipating heat efficiently and keeping the temperature roughly 50-80 degrees lower. The holes also help to remov break dust, dirst and water to improve contact and friction between brake pads and brake rotor. The result is better brake pedal feel, shorting braking distance, and more stopping power.
Less than one year old, 5k miles on them. No warps, scratches, etc.
