transmission lock

Hello, My key cylinder broke, so I cannot get the car out of gear to have it towed. Does anyone have any ideas ? Is there a manual override ? The dealer told me I would have to drag it on a flat bed, seems like there should be a way. 95 525 I

You could do it from beneath the car. Loosen the screw that holds the cable to the selector rod and you can move it out of park manually.
