Ok, just picked up this e30 about two or three weeks ago, then I picked up a 99 M3 two days ago. I can not keep both cars as I am living at apartments and we already have two cars, three just doesnt work! I love this car but I can not keep it :(.

1987 325is
184xxx miles
Have a big portfolio full of reciepts of maitence that has been done on it since 2005.

Has
Ground Control Coilovers
Roll Bar fabricated by "IS"
2x Sparco seats
Treehouse Racing Control Arm Bushing
Poly bushings all around
Ground Control Camber Plates
LSD(different one, dont know ratio)
OBC works great
power sun roof works great
Nice Clairion (somethin like that) CD/MP3 player (cost round 250$)
New battery
Sway bars front and rear(dont remember, think UUC?)
New front brake rotors (slotted) and pads

JUST HAD A PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTION DONE!

Compression as follows - 1-180 2-170 3-170 4-180 5-180 6-180 = great compression

nothing came back bad. 1 small seap from a hose from oil filter adapter housing (1 oring) and small drip from tranny drain plug. simple simple fix,

the car has alot more, i just do not know at this time. I was given a bunch of extra parts for the car, including two borbet type t's.

The car runs great and pulls strong. I havent had any problems with it and I have drove it ALOT in the past few weeks. I have probably put around 1000 miles on it my self.

is the roll bar welded in? are those seats put in using the regular holes/bolts or were new holes drilled in? i'm assuming this car was tracked before?

pictures of all dings/dents/bad paint spots?

1. bolt in roll bar. seats were put in the regular holes with custom mounts. yes it has been, where and how i do not know. pretty sure just auto cross.

2. working on thoes. i havent found any dents. it might have a few SMALL ones, but I havent seen any yet. few bad paint spots, mostly just the lip. few in some other random locations.

3. no problem on that. been needing to get the pictures, just been busy as hell!

been very busy, just finished working tonight! ugh. anyway...

4 point roll bar, goes finger distance to the roof

no pictures of the engine yet. im working on it! as you all can see, very busy! Going to get the car washed tomorrow if i can, gotta find a place around here. uhm...will try and get alot of pictures tomorrow evening.

It's hard to tell from the pictures but it doesn't look like the roll bar attaches to the chassis in 4 places? It looks like just 2 places (beside the B pillars). True? Not true?

true, at the moment. the other two bars are not installed. it doest attach to 4 places the two you can see and the rear wheel wells.

What have you done maintaince/mod wise since you bought it?

Just curious because it was sold on here not too long ago...

changed the oil, filter and air filter.

i bought it, drove it for about a week, and bout a m3 the next week. its been parked, getting drove maybe one day out of the week, and thats just down the street to the store and back. oh and i just got it smogged. passed with flying colors.

Whoever buys this car is getting a pretty nice de/track day car. I looked at it back in March when it was still in Nor-Cal, and missed out on buying it by hours. If I had the extra $ I would fly down and drive it home this week.

The roll-bar was made by a friend of mine in Sacramento.

that involves 4 bolts loosened, two bars being slid into position, two bolts going in, moving cage into position, then all corners being bolted down...

not alot to plan or to have taken care of :stickoutt, that is to say, if you know how to turn a wrench clockwise and counter clockwise.

but yes, i could put them in if they really want. i would just have to make time.
