Hey Bro,
I have a DEI 611T Pulse Timer Relay. It has only five wires. The audio store said I could use this instead of the one you have and I only have 5 wires.
The DEI PTR actually has six wires:
1. Red = +12
2. Blk = Ground
3. Blk/White = Pulse trigger
4. Yellow = Common
5. Brown = Normally Open
6. Orange = Normally Closed
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx\
I have wires connected the following way to the alarm:
1. To +12(yellow)
2. To Gnd(Brown)
3. To doorlock output from Alarm(blk/yellow)
4. To +12(yellow)
5. To Door and Sunroof(blk/yellow)
6. Unhooked
I am reading this and tell me if I am correct, The power wire from the relay hooks up the power wire to the alarm. The common wire also hooks up to the power wire on the alarm too?

Yep....that's right the "power wire" for the relay and the "common wire" are connected to the (+12) alarm wire which is hot all of the time. If your using the factory alarm it's the wire with an external fuse attached.
What is the difference between your PTR and my PTR 528T? Make sure that you PTR would work in a "positive trigger" application as most devices are only "negative trigger" enabled. The DEI 528T has a jumper wire that you cut to switch be between a + or - trigger.
Hope this helps!!! :)

The only difference I see is that your's is clear and mine is super black (the box). The other difference is that mine has five wires whereas you have six wires and that is it. Everything else is the same on both relays. All I have to do left after this is make my car one touch open and close in my sunroof.

Here's the wiring from another thread that I posted to use the same Pulse Timer Relay (PTR) DEI 528T for One-touch Sunroof Close functionality.
Keep in mind that's this time it's a negative (ground) trigger.
I already had one-touch open, but based on the way that I have i wired, I can hear the relay open and close when I open the sunroof also. What I'm trying to say is that you may be able to wire it in my scenario and have one-touch open & close on your 95 e36 with one cheap PTR. :) Instead of buying some pricey "Autolok" solution.
I didn't take any pictures but the wiring is quite simple. I have the PTR installed up in the headliner right next to the sunroof switch. I have also have another sunroof switch in the center console right below my the drivers windows swich which is linked to the original switch and is ultra-conveinent. In this scenario I am using a negatitive (ground) pluse to trigger the PTR. I have the relay set for about 10s.
I wired it up as follows:
The DEI PTR actually has six wires:
1. Red = +12
2. Blk = Ground
3. Blk/White = Pulse trigger
4. Yellow = Common
5. Brown = Normally Open
6. Orange = Normally Closed
xxxxxxxTapped into the wires in the overhead lighting and the sunroof button as wellxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
1.+12 (always hot) wire from the interior lights next to the switch
2. to Ground wire from the interior overhead lights
3. to the "close" wire on the sunroof button
4. to Ground wire from the interior overhead lights
5. to the "close" wire on the sunroof button
6. Not used
As far as one-touch sunroof tilt functionality, It currently works the following way.
Tilt open - Yes is now one-touch
Tilt Close - Not one-touch because it is trigger on the sunroof button open event/wire.
PS how much did the stereo/alarm shop get you for the PTR ???
GOOD LUCK!!!!

I got mine for 20 bucks. They cost more than yours, but I get it right away, I was kinda lazy to order online. Thanks for the writeup you did. I am going to put the relay to make the sunroof one touch open and close.

PS
I had teh autoloc junk, they suck
