automatic transmissions on an S

What's the scoop on automatic transmissions on a S, I'm looking at a 2005 cabrio w/ 9k on the clock. Are the trannys good?

i worked for mini, was a certified master tech before moving back to bmw, and in the time i was there (from the time minis were released, to march of this year), i saw hardly any problems with that automatic. I think i had one with a bad valve body once, but other than that they seemed strong.
remember its a real automatic trans, not a CVT like the coopers have
