View Full Version : Has anyone bought the 4500k Catz HID kit yet?
i was just wondering because this is the kit that im leaning towards buying. I got a couple of questions:
-are they brighter than 5000-6000k HID's?
-what does the light output look like?
-Does anyone have pictures of these 4500k kit in a E36 Ellipsoids?
Thanks

A 4500K kit will be brighter then any 5000 or 6000K kit
It will be a white light as compared to a blue or purple from the other kits.

I have the kit - its awesome quality. Don't have pics yet, but yah the light is definatley bright white, and it looks OEM. For pictures of these, check out www.umnitza.com - they sell the catz HID kits and have pictures there. (also a supporting vendor)

Does the Catz HID kit produce more light onto the road than the Philips kit?

not confirmed about whether it has more light or not.
It's 3200 Lumens.
The issue is more of how high a quality this kit is due to internal electronics in the ballast and the separate igniter.
It's HIGH quality.
It's the only kit that I know of that doesn't create the OBC Low Beam Failure.
Email me for a "great price" not for public consumption:D

until recently, M Life was kicking himself for not getting it;)
Then again, he probably still wishes he got it;)
I've put it into my wife's car, my car, and three others already.
It's great:D

I was for the first week or so when I had my ballasts hanging and kept shorting out. Now they are fixed to the car, and no probs :D plus the color is awesome just what I wanted
