shuddering shifter

My 4hp22/eh, seems to shudder like mad on the 2-3 upshift, and also have developed a clunk shifting from p-d or d-r...its got 300000 k on original powertrain..so i guess its due to bite me..but it would sure be great to hear some good news like a simple fix..its not the cost of repair...its the associated sepperation anxiety...any ideas..?

I've heard that similar problems occur when some plastic bushings wear out along the shift linking.

I thought maybe a u joint could cause the clunk shifting into gear. But the vibration only happens while the shift is taking place..I heard 4hp's were unreliable...but with 300000k i cant really call that unreliable. I really love the car....although i did get my ass kicked by a 928 the other day
