i just about a Dinan performance chip for this guy at xgenperformance@aol.com. i think hes pretty well known. will this hurt or help my MPG?? and i also just cleaned my injectors. =]
any comments about the performance of this chip and how i should install it would be great

yes! supposedly i get +24 hp +29 lbs +400 rpm. i wonder how true this is.

Indeed, the gas mileage is by far most affected by the driver. This is how I get my supposedly gas-hog 540 (auto, bleh) to get 20+ city, 25+ highway, with mods.
As for your mileage, it will likely be high teens, low 20s. As a side note, however, you will have to use premium gas now, as the power mostly comes from advancing the timing for better gas, as the stock M30 was designed to run on regular (87) to mid grade (89).

ouch. thats gonna hurt my student, no-job wallet. o well tho. the speed increase cancels that out :)

the hp increase shouldnt be too far off from what they state...it evens out low end a bit, but you will feel a really noticeable stronger pull above 4k to redline....enjoy it..
install is easy, takes 30minutes...maybe an hour if your not mechanicaly inclined
