OEM E38 740il Mesh Rims 16x8 ET23. Will this offset clear E36 M3 Front brakes?

I have a set of these 16" style 5's from my E46 for winters that I will try on the M3 this week. I would presume that they'd fit since they clear 740il brakes?
They will fit if you like ramming your tires into your wheel well lip.

The snow tires that are on the wheels are 205/55/16... I can't imagine that to be anywhere near ramming on stock M3 ride height... people have already successfully installed 215/40/17 on 17x8 ET20 style 5's and they sit flush with the fender :lol
At stock height yah you're right. I always think lowered.

nice post
im looking for "winter mags" for my 2002 E46 325i
there's a guy near my place offering:
ET23
Size:16x8
Bolt patern: 5x120
this guy claims they come from a BMW 740
i just want to make sure that will fit my E46 and i'll go for it
much better than those badass ugly rims
should i go for them?
sorry but i'm still too junior to post pics or anything
thanks fellas

a rolled lip should prevent rubbing, that setup isn't too aggressive.

I also had these wheels and tires on my E46, but they rubbed slightly in the rear. A slight roll solved the problem.
