no sport package.
There were luxury package cars, and standard cars.

Front lip delete, luxury seats (not vaders), nicer leather inserts on the door panel, chrome door handle, wood trim: around the shifter, wood knob, wood e-brake and wood piece in front of the passenger trim piece.

I felt like I was forgetting something.
I'm not sure on this one, were M contours the standard wheels on all lux packages as well?

Yes sir, the M Contour wheel was standard on the Lux. Package M3. They were also equipped with heated seats, power seats both driver and passenger.

Forgot to mention the difference in side skirts as well! Slightly different, but you can notice by just looking at mine.

I really like the contour wheels.
The fake wood cracks and that isn't so good.
I replaced my piece around the shifter with the black one because mine
was cracked and chipping.

I wouldn't call it a "bad thing"! Different strokes for different folks, how many modded M3's on the board have kept their Vadar seats and stock sideskirts? Most change them out anyway, unless you don't modify the vehicle, many don't mind the Lux. Package options! I'm looking to buy a set of Recaro Pole Position seats, so if anyone wants mint, 50,000 mile, heated, power Modena Lux. seats, give me a PM!

Typically a number of them, some buy it now. Sedan ones
are harder to find. Wood trim impossible!
The is a black one for a M3 sedan on ebay at 290174054662.
I bid and won (at the last seconds of course) for about $60.
The window switch hole configuration varies for the car of course so make sure the one you get is right.
The one in this ebay auction also includes the dove side pieces but you don't
need those parts.

4 years ago the stealership quoted me $650 for the wood trim sedan one.
I think a black one would have been about $400 new.
I believe they have gone up now.
Black ones are tough stuff and you can find one for cheap on ebay, I went that way
honda954racer03

wow that is ludicrous I thought it would be 20 maybe 30 dollars at the stealership isnt it just a plastic piece?!

You are talking the big plastic piece that goes around the shifter and holds
the windows switch etc. correct.
When I went in 5 years ago and asked I expected no more than $300 for my
fake wood trim one. When I was told $650 for the part alone that got me.
$50 for a black one on ebay is much better. It is a pain to replace because you
have to pull everything. The axle pins on the arm rest are really a pain IMHO.
