when your studying to u usually have all these bmw magazines lying around ALWAYs on the desk. Shit... im trying to study for my speech com. test rite now and i have a stack of bmw magazines i gotta move outta the way...

HAHA- i dont study- course im still in high school. Which i hate and dont ever want to go to again. Right now im running a soild .8 GPA at the 6 (out of 18) week grading period. Damn im good. :)

College is hectic, bro, believe me! Just failed a CompSci test asfter studying all weekend :(
Back to the point, Rich, my desk is cluttered with everything from car mags to Cd's. I really need to clean up my room - period - it's too cluttered for me to concentrate well.

Yeah man, my stuff is all over the place so when i TRY to study, i have to get away because for one, i HATE to study but it has to be done. If i stay at my house, i will always find something else to do. So i have to get away, that works for me :)

not wanting to bragg or anything, but I wuz like that in high school, too, didnt like to study and didnt graduate cause I F**ked around too much. Anywayz, I became a cook for like 5 bucks an hour!! Since that wuz not the bright future i wanted, I went BACK to school a little hungrier (literally!!) started at jc and ended up with a BS and MS in engineering. So stallion dont give up! even a F**kup like me ended up o.k., but you GOTTA STUDY! Theres no other way. Take it from me, becoming VERY poor is a motivator to do better! and thats where you'll be if you dont find a way to motivate yourself...its all about motivation! nobody will do it for you and when you DO finish school you will have a degree of self respect that no one can ever take away!!

thats the beauty of junior colleges. If you have a pulse you can get in, and then excell. There was no other college I woulda made it into with my HS grades. It also is not quite as difficult as a 4yr university, so you can get acclimated to college work but in a much lower stress environment. Also get much more 1 to 1 interaction with the teachers.

highschool > class at 7:45AM solid till 3:00pm. if you don't go, you have to fake a note!

college > 2 to 3 hours of classes each day, and not every day of the week. if you don't go, so what! and college girls are hotter than hs girls!!!!

Pika, I should know this by now, but are you a HS or college student? I guessing your in college, but?
To each their own, I was just talking about the responsibility factor. Wihtout a doubt (and it's proven by drop-out freshman every year) college is a different ballgame where you are in charge of what gets done and if you don't do anything, Mommy isn't there to slap your ass into gear.

Don't get me wrong Pika, I've got no problems w/ increased responsibility (setting up your own class times does kick ass), and the girls here in college are much more frisky and fun than some of the prudes I knew in high school...the thing is, I just smile when I think of how little I had to do back then without really appreciating(sp) it. Just go to class, BS, and then go to the beach afterwords around three. Although I did have to wear a uniform all through HS (coat and tie in FL sunshine = Furnace) the times I had there are probably going to be some of the fondest memories in my life.
College can be whatever you make of it. A sex-filled, beer-guzzling orgy of decadence, or a stress-filled note-taking orgy of learning! I'm still tryin' to find the right balance between the two :)

To those of you having problems studying due to bmw magazines cluttering your desk+floor+every place u can imagine, I have a solution. I don't study that much, but I keep my Bimmer magz in two piles. One pile has a bottle of tequila as a paperweight, the other has the book that I am supposed to be reading. It's like reverse distraction, I WANT to read the magz and drool and contemplate future plans for my car, BUT the booz and the books are in the way, thus causing me to learn, and sip a little. Well, at least this works for me, this is my theory.

Man, why is this problem so hard for you people to solve!?!?!? Pick up all the bmw mags you want to read, and read them cover to cover, stare at every photo of hot chick draping her self over the car,,, do it all until your eyes start to bleed!! Then do homework!

I'm better. I pulled a .5 GPA this hexter (same 6 of 18 thing). I have to do something to detract from my ACT score..
