cooperS vs e46 328/330 vs e46 530i

help!! I can't decide which BMW I should get, it'll be my first bimmer so I guess its a difficult choice!

frankly, I like the Cooper S (too small though), it flies and I've driven the e39 535i which is also phenomenal

my needs:
fun to drive, standard, under 15k, lasts for 250k+ kms, relatively thrify maintenance & preferably winter package (its cold up here in Canada ;)

help and guidance appreciated...

I say test drive them all, then test drive them again. Get the one that 'feels' most right to you.

Personally I would go for an E46 330i, but if you can find a JCW Cooper S for that price it would probably be a lot more fun.

I sold an '01 E46 to get my first Mini. I find the MINI to be MUCH more fun.

No real comparison between a 330 and a MCS ... they're two very different cars. Like Shivan000 said, your best bet is to test drive them all and decide which is best for you. Or you could just get one of each :D
