Clayed my 2000 540 Oriental Blue for the first time last week, then used Megs cleaner/polisher, followed by Wolfgang paint sealant. I have a PC and some nano polish, but that stuff is crap to get off. The megs was easy as was the Wolfgang Sealant. Here is what I want to know. Can I do something between applications of the Wolfgang as I was told that I can "build up" the protection of the sealant before winter by doing several applications. True?
If so, what can I be doing other than just a wash between applications of the paint sealer?
Many thx~

Take some time to really wash the car properly, this will be the biggest factor is respecting the work you've done to the paint, to maintain it.
Then get a few bottles of Meguiars Ultimate Quik Detailer and mist/wipe your paint as needed.

Bill,
The info over at autogeek says that you can add multiple layers of Wolfgang sealant. So you might want to wash the car, dry it well, and add another layer of WG sealant.
I use the Klasse AIO and SG. I always use two layers of AIO to ensure complete coverage. Then I apply at least 3 layers of SG. Again, the second layer assures complete coverage. Additional layers of SG (I usually stop at 6) are for appearance. Between layers of SG I generally wash the car. Sometimes I"ll spray a QD like Meguiars Final Inspection, too. This year I'm using SG diluted with water 1:4 to make the surface really slick between layers of SG.
Anyway, have fun with it. That's the point.
