My favorite soaps for the Cannon are:
CG CWG
DG wash
DP extreme Foam.
CG being the most economical.
Also, consider getting a bigger canister since the one provided wont last you ONE full car wash.

Why on earth would you need 3000 psi to wash a vehicle? I'm sure the cannon device drops it down-at least I hope it does- but I shudder to think what damage 3000 psi could do to paint if someone decided to shortcut. I have a pressure washer, but not for the car. I doesn'r really increase volume appreciably, so what is the point? Seems like using a .45 on a squirrel (with a silencer of course):devillook

hold your horses bro. and dony have a cow. this is a great buy. and is used for many things around my home and outside of it. oh wait you can always set it on low for your vehicles. remember the black tip you put on the end. okay cool.

Probably works great to get that cow shit off your wheels, but we don't have much call for that up in the North! I understand that stuff can be a bitch to get off once it hardens on your wagon wheels..

With a foam gun do you still need to use a sponge or mitt to wash the car, or just let the soap drip?

I still use two buckets and grit guards with the foam gun. one filled with suds and the other filled with rinsing water.

This may sound crazy but for years we have used a tree and shrub sprayer bottle it has a very long nozzel, you attach to a garden hose it is made by ortho and makes 16 gal. of soap with heavy foam just put down the tip and spray and follow up with a micro fiber wash mitt soaked in fresh water with no nozzel and sheet water off of car.
fill bottle with 8 oz. of wash shampoo we use gliptone wash and glow bal with water.
costs about $ 15.00 in home depot or lowes, you will find them in the garden dept,

No, I would say not.
It was just something we have used for many years.
We have 4 cannon's and use only machines that go up to 800 psi, but put out 3gal.per min. made by Honda .
