I just started reading these boards and am hooked on the possibilities of upgrading my ride.

I have a 2003 530i with 75k miles. As far as i know nothing has been done to the car and am looking to start with buying the following items from beastpower motorsports dot com

Powerflex Polyurethane Bushings Kit for the BMW 5-series (e39)

Eibach Front and Rear Anti Sway Bars for the BMW M5 (e39)

First, since I'm a noob, are these the right parts? I think that in the 8 hour marathon of reading posts I read that I could use them. Second, do I toss the bushings from the sway bar and use the powerflex bushings?

Thanks in advance for the info! Looking forward to reading this entire forum!

Welcome!

About the bushings...They will improve your handling, but be sure to lubricate them properly, unless you like to hear sqeaks and creaks. I did polyurethane on my Integra and it was an awful ruckus!:(

I'm new to this forum,But not 2 BMWs I mean E39s.I sure every1 would agree start with a tune up.oil, plugs, brakes, trans fluid and filter. The brakes are fun,U can replace the rotors with Brembo or other brand drilled and slotted. Then Pagid pads and steel brake lines.Or what ever you want.I would get the basics done then go 4 the kill.Big stuff????

M5 front sway bar will not fit a 530i. only the rear. go with an eibach made for a 530i up front. welcome to bimmerforums!
