I Need Help Badd!!!!

alright, i went to open my car the other day and it wouldn't unlock. try unlocking it at the door, wont work. i am locked out of my damn car. so i order a new key, picked it up today, and even this key will not unlock it. WHAT DO I DO??????? i cant even get into the car to get my wallet which i need to get my license out of. thx for the help. any suggestions will be appreciated.

turn to the left
turn harder!

Door opens
retrieve wallet
figure out what's wrong with car...

i feel like such an ass hahahaha. thx a lot though, such a simple fix, dead battery. im gonna charge it and see what happens but what battery should i get to replace it? and thx again.

Now you need to find out what drained the battery....

FSU may be a term you'll want to take a look into.

Re replacement batter:
go to autozone. I believe the battery you want is a 49dl....

Since this is a "battery" topic does our key fob havea battery in it that can be replaced? If so do you just pry it open?

I don't think you can replace the batteries - they are rechargeable (as you drive) and I think they are soldered (I might be wrong here) to the circuitry. There's a post somwhere about this (I hope I will find it) where somebody said that you might be able to change it (the rechargeable element) with a slightly bigger unit (aftermarket) which would involve some modding within the keyfob.
