Hey guys...

I hope this wasn't asked before, I searched for it and couldn't find anything.

I got some scratchs from a cat last night (yes, a cat, that pet I'm hating now). They are in the hood and in the right fender (I got them painted in a bodyshop 3 or 4 months ago :bawl) and they look really ugly. Do you have any ideas on how to remove these scratchs? I don't want to screw up the paint so I didn't try anything yet.

Thanks in advance

will they wax out or are they too bad?

Umm...last time I checked, wax is never going to remove a scratch. You have quite a few options, you can try your hand at removing them with touch up paint and wetsanding, www.autopia.org- search the archives and there is a great article about how to do this. You can try a product like Megs. Scratch-X or Eagle one scratch remover to try to get them out, polish, then wax and they might not be as noticable, or you can take it to a body shop. It all depends on you.

get some "cat socks" :stickoutt

just kidding, your cat would be in a perpetual state of freak-out with some cat socks on!

Might be nice pay-back though!

GKGreen: Thanks for the info! I think I'll try to use some polish first and if it doesn't work out I'll go for the touch up paint.

count_schemula: hehehe... I kicked that cat so hard :evil2 that I hope it will die (hope that one doesn't have 9 lives, hehe), cats... I HATE CATS!!
