OK so I've been having some brake problems for the past couple of weeks. The problem is that my front drivers side brake sticks. I've already bled it and it didn't help. So I decided to "test" what could be causing it to stick. I made it stick then I loosened the brake line on the master cylinder. Still stuck. Then I loosened the line on top of the ABS pump for that wheel and it let the brake disengage. So does this mean that there is a stuck valve inside the ABS pump that wont let the fluid go back into the master cylinder? Or is it something else?
Thanks in advance.

I would try disconnecting the line brake line from the caliper completely to see if it slides freely or not. It could be a coincidence that when you removed the abs line the caliper moved. How many miles on that caliper?

Thanks ghostryder35,
Yea I've removed the line and the caliper releases. Its a brand new (remanufactured) caliper. I just installed it a couple days ago. I even tried a junk yard one before that and it did the same thing. So I'm pretty sure its not the caliper itself. Is it possible to take apart the ABS pump to see if the valve is stuck and possibly fix it. Thanks again.

Well it was the ABS pump that was bad. I just went and got one at the local pick and pull and put it in. $50 and it works perfect. So if you have a sticking caliper that might be something to check out before replacing or rebuilding the caliper.
