View Full Version : Mounting CD Changer with DSP...

Hi there I just bought a CD changer (model# .... 404) and it works and everything but I can't figure out how to mount it in the space provided! The bracket that came with it requires the changer to be mount horizontally but that isn't possible with the dsp unit there. I'm left with 2 brackets (one that was in the car with the changer gone and one that was taken off the changer I bought) and a loose changer wrapped in a towel. Which bracket should it use? Any pictures? Help please!!!

There are two different brackets depending on the fact whether you car has navi or not. Changer is mounted horizontally in all cases, even if you have DSP.

Glad you got it - here is a pic to confirm you got it right :)

Obviously the changer itself is not installed, but you can see the left and right brackets. Also, there is a switch on the side of the changer for horizontal vs. vertical mounting. Make sure it is set to Vertical.
