Sponsored by SM3 and JGCM3 from Charlotte, NC.

As most of you know, Active Autowerke in Miami, Fl has developed new intercooled supercharger kits for BMW’s using a Rotrex supercharger setup. This is the only supercharger kit in production right now that includes an air to air intercooler, as well as an oil cooler for the supercharger!!! They have almost sold all of their introductory priced kits, and will soon be charging the full price if you plan to purchase one through them. We have reserved 10+ kits at the intro price, and with this group buy, we have prices even below their introductory offer price…

OBD I and II kits $4625 + shipping

325-328 kits $4425 + shipping

Shipping is $75, which includes insurance for both packages. The supercharger and parts comes in one package and the intercooler in another.

This offer is almost $1000 dollars off the regular price of the AA kit!!!

Even if you purchase the kit at AA’s intro price of $4800, you must pay $150 in shipping costs = $4950
You save $250 dollars with this group buy!!!

Comparable kits using a Vortech blower such as ERT, Dinan, or RMS are all priced well above what this AA setup is being offered for. Plus, all these kits do not include an air to air intercooler or an oil cooler, and are more labor intensive. (Unlike the Rotrex unit which has it’s own self contained oil supply), you must tap into your car’s own oil reserve to cool the Vortech unit. This is actually worse for the supercharger and performance since you are pumping your car’s hot oil into the blower, further heating it up as it is trying to force the air into your motor. You have all seen Active’s site where heat soak from other supercharger kits robs up to 50hp just from heat alone! AA’s supercharger kit eliminates this problem, and makes it even safer by including an intercooler to cool the incoming air as well as an oil cooler to cool the oil in the rotrex unit.

The kit will come straight from AA to your door. Everything comes with the kit, including the intercooler and oil cooler, along with the blower, bigger injectors, and all the parts and installation instructions… Exactly as it would if you were ordering directly from AA. If you have any questions, you can talk to Rey at AA or TKM3 on the DTMpower forum for any further info regarding this group buy. This is a great deal that you do not want to miss out on.

The first 10 people who commit to us will get this deal.

If there is such a demand that there are more than 10 people who want to be a part of this group buy, we can increase the group buy to 15 or 20 kits. This will result in an even lower price for each individual kit, and will be adjusted accordingly to all members of the group buy.

Once payment has been received by all participants who have committed to the group buy, Active Autowerke will ship all the kits immediately.

If you are interested, please email JGCM3 from the forum and include the following information…

Name
Address
Tel #
Type of BMW you have. Specify year, make and model. 95’s are OBD I and 96 on are OBD II

All information sent to us will be kept confidential with the exception of your first name (or DTM name), to keep everyone updated on who has signed up for the group buy.

Updates will be posted at regular intervals on the forum as to how many kits are still available, or you can contact us at any time.

Payments must be made via Cashier’s check, money order, or personal check (which must be cleared by us)

Please do not commit if you do not plan to purchase a kit.

This is a great deal that we were lucky to offer to all of you. So don’t miss your chance to get the best supercharger setup on the market for your BMW!

Hmmmm.. its your first post and you selling... Have you spoke to admin about being a supporting vendor?.. And how come only Cashier Check, MO, and Check. Why not Credit Card? I will be interested, if I get more information about your company and if you willing to accept credit card...

no credit cards because most vendors have to pay a fee...

my guess is the fee would be a couple hundred bucks

True. It's a fee that Active didn't want to have to deal with. Sorry about me being a new member and all. I've been on the DTMpower forum for over a year now. Just wanted everyone on this forum to be aware as well about the group buy. Haven't spoken to anyone about being a supporting vendor. Let me know if I need to do anything. Thanks. Oh, and Jlee, let me know if you are still interested? Thanks again.

I'm only remotely interested if this is legit...can anyone confirm this?

JLee

actually, as of right now i'm out of this group buy because i'm working with a local shop on carrying AA products, and to show my support if i get a kit i'll probably get it through them...:)

so don't get me wrong, i'm a supporter of the kit !!

Yes, it's 100% legit. Check with the company to confirm it if you like...

only serious purchasers should probably call the company....you don't want AA to get alot of calls....

and are more labor intensive

Be careful in your choice of words.

Also, just to clarify for people, are you saying BOTH packages are shipped w/insurance for $75, or are you saying EACH package costs $75 to ship?

I'm curious, because it seems that AA is going to pay half of the shipping costs for this unit??? So, the purchaser only pays $75.00 and not $150.00. Is this correct?

Second, why is the money going through you???? Not saying you are not a man of character; but, are you a vendor or a private person doing this ?? It seems that its two individuals providing the group buy (which I am sure that people are grateful, no doubt); but, if you are not a vendor, why are you accepting money on AA's behalf. You do not give a company name, company address, etc.

For instance, who is the recipient of the checks (e.g., who is it made out to???).

So don’t miss your chance to get the best supercharger setup on the market for your BMW! another questionable statement....

Good luck with selling :)

Yes. I said $75 for both packages total.

Yes, I get a deal for shipping 10+ kits instead of $150 its $75 shipping

Sorry I didn't clarify this in the post... Cashier's checks/Money Orders should be made to Active Autowerke. Only if you pay by personal check, must it be made out to me to confirm and be cleared before it is deposited in an account that will go directly to Active as well.

Once we have received 8 of the 10 people necessary to do the group purchase, we will request the checks to be sent to us. If you prefer, and feel more secure, you can send your check directly to Active under the care of Group Buy, and they can hold them until the group buy is complete.

As for the supercharger being the best on the market.... I doubt that's much of a question. But everyone has a right to their opinion. :)

All of this information will be sent again to anyone who is serious about the buy. I want this to be as secure as possible for any potential buyers, so I am open to suggestions if you feel it is not secure enough....

I have a Turbo M3 that was built by active, and have posted some more info on the dtm forum about the buy and about my car here....

I'm marginally interested. However, if the price was closer to $4,000.00, I'd be down. You have to factor in the cost of the install and de-bugging. When you factor this in, AA's installed price seems more attractive.

We talked to AA about that install price but thats pretty much over they only have a couple spots left.

AA says its a very simple install. Its pretty much just bolt everything in place, no technical specs.

Personally, I wouldn't shell out all that cash if I couldn't use a credit card. The seller should accept either credit cards or payments via escrow.com. All told, the group buy would approach $50k. I'm not questioning anyone's integrity, by the way.

I might be interested if the price is better...but frankly...for a lump sale a greater discount (especially considering the recent free install promotion) should be available. Also if AA accepts credit cards they should accept credit cards on this deal! Further...it is ILLEGAL to charge a consumer a surcharge for credit card use (yes I know it is done...but...you can be busted...ask me how I know ;)
i own a business and shell out tens of thousands a year in CC charges...its part of doing business...

Bottom line...a greater discount and credit card safety and I would probably be in.

Your replies have been noted and I am currently working on revising the pricing and the credit card option. The only thing is, that the group buy will have to be raised to 15 units to get the better deal. Also, I think I can get the price to drop another $200-300 dollars. What do you guys think? Let me know...
