Just wondering what the lowest drop anyone's made on a 328xi coupe (or 335xi, if someone's actually received it already). Is a drop for an awd even advisable, and if so is it ok to just replace the springs and keep the other stock parts?

I have one on order, and i've constantly deliberated between i vs xi - not interested in sparking a debate about one or the other since everyone is going to have their own opinion anyways. Thanks.

I have the XI coupe and had the 335 18' wheels put on along withthe aero-package. I didnt want to take the chance of lowering a winter car. The wheelwells are filled out nicely this way.

Cool - do you have any pics, particularly a side view? I have the 18s ordered with the sports pkg, but still wasn't sure how much gap there would be. I've seen pics of some xi's that look pretty good, while others looked pretty high still.

Thanks!

Dinan has a Stage 1 suspension kit that drops it 1/8" and supposedly stiffens it up a lot. Bargain basement price of $1503.00 plus tax

yeah thats a ridiculous price. For that money I would buy a nice set of Variant II or III coilovers and have a superior system.
