Good or bad fuel line?

I need to change my fuel filter on my 535i, and I looked underneath to find crusty old soft lines leading to and from the fuel filter. I went and picked up some line from the store, and when I came back, I noticed that it had some writing on the side that makes me wonder if it is the right kind of fuel line. The question is, can I still use this line to go from the fuel pump to fuel filter, and fuel filter to hard line under the car?

The hose is made to cary fuel but can't handle the fuel pressure in the injection systems.
