Hello all. New member here and I could use some advice. I have a black '04 330 and I am having some swirl issues. I have a PC 7424 and some Lake Country white and black pads. I used 3M Perfect It Swirl mark remover and the finish looked excellent but in the direct sun I could still see the little halos that were on the car when I bought it (those showed up after I first washed the car after I bought it). I thought that after I applied my sealer, Deep Swax, that it might hide them a bit. If you know about the Swax it makes the car look like a glass ball and is strong as hell and now the halos are in 3D!!!

I would like to fix this myself and would love some suggestions to do it properly.

you have to have a more aggressive pad then a white or black LC pad... those have like no cutting power

you need atleast a orange pad for a high abrasive polish to remove hard swirls then downgrade to a lower abrasive polish to remove the micromarring caused by the high abrasive polish.

check out Pinnacle XMT Swirl Remover #3, Pinnacle XMT Swirl Remover #1, and Pinnacle XMT Finishing Glaze or coat of wax

Agreed. The orange cutting pads worked really well for me along with the Pinnacle Advanced Swirl Remover.

Thanks guys! I got the orange Lake Country pad (kinda funky foam) and some Pinnacle Advanced Swirl Remover and was able to get'em all out!! That Deep Swax was a bit of a b*tch to get through but I did up the whole car and reapplied the Swax with 2 coats and the car looks insane!!! Thank you soooo much!

I don't know if you have tried that Deep Swax sealer but its unlike anything I have every used. I was a hard core Zaino guy. The Ferrari guys were bragging it up on another forum so I got it and the detail spray Deep Detail. The stuff is awesome and definitely worth a try. It looks like carnauba but but has super clear reflections.

Thanks so much again for the help!

The Tunnel Wash guys like it as it comes in 5 or 55 gallon drums, and this is better than Zaino, I was given some to test :nono

Tunnel Wash Guys?? I don't understand what you mean. And the "no, no" sign, did I say some thing wrong? Just curious.
