Umm UUC is a great place to get an exhaust, many people love the System U becuase it is affordable and good quality, however im in love with my RSC36 made by Corsa from UUC....not many ppl have it so you wont get many feedback on it, but IMO its def. worth the price!

How do you like the sound of the UUC? too loud or too soft?

not to steal your thread but does anyone know if the e36 m3 exhaust gives a 328 a different noise?

the 328 has the same exhaust as an m3, just unplug the baffle thing or watever, i forget there is a thread on it, and it will be louder than the m3...
otherwise i love the RSC36....on the 328, it rumble's and backfires every now and then and its just such a nice feeling.....its simply amazing

$899....had it installed by my mechanic when i had the new clutch and flywheel put in...so it was free, but a shop wont charged more than 50 to install an exhaust...like galatti's

UUC's RSC36 is an amazing exhaust, but I'm partial to the tone of my Stromung... Plus I think the UUC is just a little louder than the Stroming. Can't go wrong with either exhaust, both sound great in person!
Edit- Here is a picture of the exhaust, and buying used isn't a bad idea if you want to save a little money http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/6865/img1522gh5.jpg

Well i have a stock M exhaust and its is a little different i wish i could still find the sound comparison between me and my friends with his stock exhaust without the vaccume line and my M exhaust. What it is is at idle and lower rpm its a little deeper and at high rpm it kinda has a little more of sorta raspy sound to it. My friend is actually getting one now as well cuz he likes mine lol. But actually another favorite of mine is no exhaust or side pipe... god i wish it was legal lol As for the rest the borla and the system U were pretty nice so far that i have heard

I chose Stromung for it's nice rumble @ low rpms to quickly become quite in the upper rpm powerband and still have high flow.
Also lasted 4 yrs sofar in Canadian salt filled winters and shows no sighns of rotting away on me other then surface rust, which is only on the unpolished sections hidden under the car.
Have a couple vids of it under load if you'd like to hear it on a 4 pot.

i wish people could experience the sound of the rsc36....i mean just the manufacturer Corsa should be a reason to buy it....all i can say is that the c6 vettes sound the same as the e36 with the same exhaust!
