So I go out to my 328iS cause its time for class. It ran perfectly yesterday and it's been sitting in my garage since yesterday afternoon.
Put the key in the ignition...Car wont crank and electrical stuff is flickering on and off, ok new battery time.
Getting out of car, i notice some liquid by my feet, look under car and see a large puddle of coolant.
Open hood, notice coolant level is low! Ok I've had a really minor coolant leak the past few days I still can't find I'll just top it off.
Open the reservior cap to see OIL IN THE COOLANT :redspot
.......
Could anymore go wrong with this car at once!! :help :(

Maybe your head gasket is bad and the engine is hydro locked.

With the cheap ass temp gauges in the these cars, I wouldnt doubt it. MSG to everyone...BUY AND INSTALL A AFTERMARKET TEMP GAUGE!!!!!!!!!!

NO...just get it to a local shop and have them do a leak down test on it.Then go from there. My car is still at the shop awaiting a new head, im up to 3k in total cost for the head replacment. Sorry bro.

your head gasket is blown, happened to me once
and that is the only time when your coolant mixes with engine oil

I actually read on here that the oil bubbles in the coolant could be the red line water wetter I have in there. Oil is still clean and hasn't dropped any.
Hopeully it just won't start because of the dead battery.
