Hey guys,

i'm a new proud owner of a 06 BMW 325i (non-sport:() but my question is that i have only 9k miles on this car and it runs great. The only problem i have is that i bought this car after an accident and i repaired everything that was bad, now some tech at the dealer told me that my VIN is labeled as a salvaged vehicle and my warranty coverage has been voided...? is there any way around this? has anyone ran into this problem? or is anyone or does nayone know of any bmw service writers that can maybe give some info about this? I'm really hoping that i can get the car into the dealer and do its regular maintaince work done plus a couple other small issues i have.

Thanks guys, any info would be appreciated!

Rob

I believe he is correct, they won't warranty a salvaged vehicle (although I heard companies like Subaru who buy back customer lemons and fix them, will warranty them even though they are tagged as salvaged, but they were factory repaired or something). In any case, they should still be willing to work on your vehicle but you'd fork out the bill. That's the tradeoff of getting a salvaged vehicle right?
