Hey, i just got an offer for a set of nice rims, they are 17x8.5 et13
how much would I have to struggle in order to fit them in my e36? it already has rolled fenders.
Would it be better to just correct offsets and put it to 20 or what?
Thanks

you cannot "correct" the offset by machineing the mounting surface as it is not safe.
I would just run the 17x8.5 et13's with stretched 215/40/17 tires and some negative camber.
Check out Paul's Yellow M3 with the BBS RS's as those are his wheel specs.

I would just say find another set of wheels. I agree with not correcting the offset. That can be a bad thing.

You can correct a high offset with spacers, you can't really correct low offset rims.
