Anyone know exactly what the difference is between the euro Evo diff and stock US? I've been told about six different things, some relating to SMG, some not, etc. etc. etc.

I've consistently heard that the diff is larger, but know nothing else. Anyone have a clue?

the physical ring/pinion is larger as well...as it uses the same gears as the 740.

the euro diff ONLY fits in an E36 if using the euro rear subframe (about $480).

the euro diff has replaceable ears on the rear of the cover itself as well. also, it's heavier (by about 10 lbs.).

Do you have a p/n for the euro rear subframe? Do Euro diffs typically come with these?

Wow... you need all this stuff?

No. Most Euro diffs will not come with the rear subframe. It usually stays with the donor car/wreck. It's a big time ordeal to remove/replace the rear subframe. But if anyone's interested, I have a spare Euro diff for sale. I also have new side/rear brackets for the diff as well.
