I searched, but couldn't find any threads about installing demon eyes.
I've got a '94 318is with ZKW Euro ellipsoids and i just received a set of white demon eyes for them.

I took apart everything and saw how the headlight was put together and where roughly the rings go but are they supposed to be glued down in some way to the lens so theyre not just dangling by the wires?

Whoever you bought them from should have included a DIY, but you can check understeer.com (http://www.understeer.com/pdf/e36dde.pdf) for their instructions and see if it works for you.
