Just got an intake

i just bought a cosmos intake 2day and was wondering if anyone else who has one has bought a heat shield to go with it... everything i hear about heat shields make me want one to cool it down even more. Any input would be awesome, thanks!

Heat shields are for short ram intakes. Cosmos is a CAI so you get cold air already. It travels up pretty fast I doubt it will heat up.
