Code 1221: Ego Sensor?

what is this EGO?

Not sure, but this is air/fuel related. O2 sensor, or something else that is screwing up the mixture (like a vacuum leak or something).

I had this problem on my non vanos. we change the O2 like 5 times and they were all new. Then we thought that it was The MAF messing up. It had a real bad idle, Stall out, Run like shit. Now this is a new/used motor, harness, MAF and DME. How would I be throwing a O2 code? or a air/fuel code

lol the o2 is new.. why would it throw a code? burnt/unburnt oil cause it to throw a code?

no, that's part of what the o2 sens is already checking for, now if they are for the old engine set-up you may be throwing codes.

there the same part number.. Both motors are OBD1 just this on is vanos and the other one wasn't
