i got my SC kit on my car. first off it was great. about 15 miles later the car does not idle at all. around 800rpm i am only getting about 13hg. the car likes to idle around 1500rpm and there it makes about 21hg and its fine.
i looked for a vacuum leak and found nothing. (using the smoke machine) checked faults and found one for an o2 sensor and TPS.
i know the tps is good, and that the tps fault would be set b/c of a vacuum leak. but i believe that it is an old fault.
also, around 800rpm the AFR is about 10.5:1 a little rich would the car bump the RPM b/c of the AFR..?
could the car run that way b/c of a o2 sensor?
Thanks,
Chris

The ICV seems to fix this problem with most people. Have you check to make sure this is clean?

i will check the cams, i did just get the head on! would a set of DSR cams do that..?
i will check the icv but i thought i just cleaned it 500mils ago.

10.5 is rich as hell for idle.

Who tuned the vehicle for you? Did you advise your tuner on the cams and there specs? I had a problem with the exhaust cam being out of timing causing terrible idle, but the engine ran lean due to the vacuume leak that it was causing! Your setup is running rich and your seeing a low vacuum figure? Check the ICV and the connections to the FPR. Hope this helps.

My car ran extremely rich recently when i recently blew a hose clamp off....and it was a vac leak
